Personal Care Products Council, Humane Groups Issue Joint Statement on Humane Cosmetics Act of 2021

The bipartisan legislation calls for non-animal testing methods for cosmetics in the US.

This week, Sens. Cory Booker (D-NJ), Rob Portman (R-OH), John Hickenlooper (D-CO), Susan Collins ( R-MA), and Jacky Rosen (D-NV) introduced the Humane Cosmetics Act of 2021.  A companion bill was introduced in the House by Reps. Don Beyer (D-VA), Vern Buchanan (R-FL), Paul Tonko (D-NY), Ken Calvert (R-Calif) and Tony Cárdenas (D-CA).
